Freedom O Clock is owned and managed by Otto, Lu and little Coral-Bella, who all have a great love for nature and the ocean. Your surroundings offer you accommodation situated in a rural and remote area…..faaaar away from the maddening crowds.
Peas on Earth offers guests the opportunity to absorb life on a tranquil farm on the picturesque Wild Coast. Our accommodation is situated on Mpetukop Farm, approximately 20km from Komga, Kei Mouth, Morgan Bay and Haga Haga, meaning our guests can enjoy all the coastal highlights from one location.
Our 6ha small-holding is a working farm, producing fresh, naturally grown herbs, fruit and vegetables for the local market. We also keep pigs, horses, chickens, bantams and ducks. Guests wishing to explore the farm and learn more about its inner workings are welcome to do so. For those that would prefer to simply sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, we will make sure the farm respects your privacy.
Guests at our B&B will have the opportunity to indulge in a breakfast of our home produce, including home-made butter, cheese and preserves; free-range eggs and bacon; and a selection of seasonal crops. Lunch and dinner can also be provided if required, but will be charged at an additional rate.
As ardent animal lovers, we know that many people want their pets to enjoy their holidays and weekdays away as much as they do. Due to this, we welcome both dogs and horses to come and stay at the farm with their owners.
In addition to the attractions of the popular coastal towns in the area, our neighbouring farm, Ocean View, also boasts a Natural Heritage Site, and Wild Coast Horse Trails, just a few kilometres down the road, have a wide range of trails and horses – as well as some of the best beach riding in the world.
Peas on Earth is also well-situated for hikes and scenic drives – if you’re really lucky, you’ll even see a rhino from the front stoep!
Our accommodation comprises of a self-contained unit consisting of a double bedroom, en suite bathroom (shower only), a small open plan kitchenette and living area. Each room also has its own patio and private entrance.

Guest rooms are situated overlooking a lush sub-tropical garden with enough bird life around to satisfy the most avid bird watcher.
A short walk from the guest house will take you to the beautiful beaches, or to breathtaking views of the ocean and bays from the hilltops surrounding the village, where you may be the only one around to be at peace with yourself and nature.
Hikers can enjoy a variety of pathways traversing either beach or natural forest or cliff tops overlooking the Indian Ocean, where one may spot dolphins or whales on their daily journeys. Local guides are available for hire to show the best routes and advise on local customs.
The famous “Hole-in-the-Wall” is a short drive away, or a few hours hike for the more energetic, but well worth the visit to view this natural rock phenomenon.
Bathers, surfers or sun worshippers will appreciate the sandy beaches and waves where there is safe bathing and surfing; and for those who enjoy surf fishing – you won’t be disappointed.

White Clay Resort is situated 1,5 km south of Coffee Bay on the “Hole in the Wall” road on the Wild Coast, nestled between the cliffs and only 100 m from its own private beach and bay. The setting is unrivaled with vast, rolling hills and rocky cliffs shearing off into the ocean. All accommodation is sea-facing offering guests fabulous vistas. The bay and private beach below is ideal for fishing and swimming at low tide.

EARTHWORX is very excited to be kicking off the new year working in conjunction with Wild Coast Kitchen and country Lodge just outside of Port St John's . We will gradually be building on a model sustainable village on the farm overlooking the mighty Umzimvubu river. The idea is to involve as many people as we can in the workshops to promote permaculture and sustainablity.
We are hosting our first 5day workshop for the new year starting on the 7th of January. Space is limited. Book early or contact us for schedules for further workshops throughout the year.
A 5 day workshop will include
-an introduction to permaculture and design
-natural building techniques including wattle and daub, adobe and cob.
-community building and upliftment
-daily optional yoga and meditation

Outspan Inn is situated in Port St Johns on the beautiful wild Coast at the mouth of the Umzimvubu River. A short walk across the lawns takes you straight down to First (our!) Beach. Its not a swimming beach. but is great for sundowners, walks, building sandcastles and fishing. All our rooms are seafacing, but because we are environmentally aware, and bird friendly, the swathe of coastal bush between us and the beach is left intact for the birds (120 of the 250 species found in Port St Johns have been seen at Outspan Inn).
The B&B rooms are all en-suite, selected rooms have DSTV. The swimming pool is fenced and the gardens are child friendly. Pets are welcome if they are well behaved.
Our self catering units are fully equipped.

The theme for the Guest House is taken from the unique living style and interiors of Provence in the South of France. These are medieval structures that endured the ages where weather and erosion have left its marks on these grand buildings. Somewhere between country living and a quiet little town one will find these almost fortress like buildings. They impress but at the same time discharge romantic images of an era gone past.
It features a combination of simple, almost humble dwellings, rectangular in shape but incorporating arches, balconies and shutter windows to give it its definitive style. Rounded of with lavender fields, tall thin and dark green conifers, olive and other trees cut on topary style, an old style village fountain and lavish Mediterranean vegetation makes this a style as unique as one can get.
Set on the seafront, the Mitford Lodge has been an essential part of Morgans Bay since the early 1940s.
