camping at mkambati

any idea what the camping site is like at mkambati?

is fishing allowed in the area?

where do we book?

Hi Tinus, I stand under correction but I don't think there is camping at Mkambati. Maybe check Mbotyi out. Haven't been camping there myself, but it is a beautiful region. (www.wildcoast.co.za/mbotyi) There is no fishing allowed within any of the reserves as they are MPAs (Marine Protected Areas). You can find the contact details at www.wildcoast.co.za/mkambati . . .

thanks jeff you are always a star. i remember we camped at mkambati bout 20 years back, but i could be mistaken. any other unique place to camp at wild coast? what is dwesa like? we like something different, obviously as long as it is safe. tinus
