Whilst sitting on the deck, feet up, watching the sun set, gin and tonic in hand, aaaah! what could be better. The coals on the braai should just about be ready for those scrumptious steaks and boerewors that you brought with you. Prawns and Calamari are for another night, maybe with some good friends who will bring along the Vino.
Waking up is another experience, it gets light really early and somehow you just can't stay in bed. The Sun rise is so beautiful with the birds singing and the horn bills watching your every move. The view of course just takes your breath away making you realize that Morgan Bay is a truly special place to be. Mmmmmmm, smell the bacon sizzling under the grill, with your eggs waiting to be cracked open and gently eased into the pan. Shall that be one egg or two this morning love? I am sure all of the above rings a bell and is a pleasant reminder of what holidays are all about. "I'll join you with my fresh fruit and yogurt this morning, lets sit together on the deck and enjoy the view"
All bedding is supplied, but not towels.
There is a satellite t.v. in the main bedroom, which allows you to watch your favourite programs. The main bedroom has a small lounge/reading area, giving you a choice of staying in bed or sitting on the comfy chair. you will need your Dstv smart card.
If you would like a house maid, just shout! this can easily be arranged as we have our lovely Mavis always waiting in the wings to tend to your every need.

The thatch house is set in a lush green belt, 2 min drive or 10 min walk from the Morgan Bay beach. The lower deck looks over the green belt while the upper deck has views over the green belt and the lagoon, incredible for bird watching and just soaking up nature while still being close to the beach.
We are fully booked between 11 December 2010 and 12 January 2011.
Downstairs is a large 65m2 open plan area with french doors and large windows leading onto the deck. The open plan area has a large lounge, fully outfitted kitchen and dining room. The bunk bed for two adults/children is screened off in the downstairs area.
Tanglewood house has an upstairs bedroom with a king size bed and a double bunk downstairs and is fully equipped self catering for 4 people. There is a washing machine and the house is fully serviced.
There are a number of stairs which unfortunately makes the house unsuitable for wheelchair access or physically challenged people.

Spinnaway is an ideally situated, double-storey, seafront house, consisting of two identical self-catering apartments (one on each floor), with a shared double garage. Each apartment sleeps 5 people in two bedrooms (one double bed and three single beds) and has an open-plan kitchen and lounge that lead out onto a deck with built-in braai place. The wide view, from the beach to the cliffs, is un-obscured.
The beach, with safe swimming lagoon, is only a 2-minute walk away, as is a scenic walk that winds along the top of the Morgan Bay cliffs. For fisherman, the location is ideal, with access to the rocks in front of the house only seconds away.
Spinnaway can be rented either as two separate 5-sleeper self-catering apartments, or as a house sleeping 10.

From the huge covered sundeck and from almost any angle in the Khaya, one has uninterrupted views up and down the Lagoon, which has rich bird life and natural splendour and is a seasonal breeding ground for fish eagles and crowned cranes. From the well-matured garden, you can meander down to the lagoon along a path under the trees.
Khaya Morgana is totally secluded and situated in a quiet cul de sac and is only a 5-minute walk to our swimming beach. The house is completely hidden from the road by the passion fruit vines covered carport.
Khaya Morgana has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeping total of 8 adults. The kitchen/breakfast area, laundry, dining room, lounge and two master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are on the ground floor. The other sleeping accommodation, two maxi-sized single beds, is open plan and part of the outer circle on the mezzanine floor. All bedrooms have wide estuary views.

The Morgan Bay Bed & Breakfast offers accommodation in a charming old colonial home, situated in a beautiful garden, with the beach and safe swimming lagoon at the bottom of the garden path.
Accommodation on offer is comprised of one double bed bedroom, one twin bed bedroom and a smaller, double bed bedroom with en-suite shower. Rooms and bathrooms open out onto the veranda and our beautiful garden, which looks out over the sea and beach. Guests can relax with a view of the beach and garden whilst enjoying a Full English Breakfast on the patio each morning.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in Morgan's Bay, Ocean Valley View offers you comfortable self catering accommodation, with beautiful views of the sea, valley/bush and cliffs all within very easy walking distance of the sea.
This modern architected 3 bedroom double storey house has a spacious open plan setting downstairs leading to a large wooden deck terrace. The three double bedrooms all have their own balcony with beautiful views of the sea, valley/bush and cliffs. The entrance and dining areas also have a view of the sea.
The main bedroom (king size bed) is en-suite equipped with a large oval bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom 4 single beds. These two bedrooms share a separate bathroom with shower. There is a downstairs guest toilet and the kitchen is well equipped with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is an outside concrete braai/barbeque.
TARIFFS:
Rates vary according to the season and length of stay and are between R700 and R1200 per night for the house/unit.

Yellowwood Forest Caravan Park and Campsite in Morgan Bay is set in a beautiful garden on the bank of the Inchara River, 1km from the beach.
Enormous trees and lush riverine vegetation surround this peaceful place. A bird watchers paradise, offering a quiet, intimate place for nature lovers.
The campground has a choice of shady tent sites and electrical points are available. A rustic thatched bush camp, tucked away on the riverbank, is a perfect hideaway and our loft gives you a birds-eye view of the trees.

Watch the Indian Ocean rollers break at Morgan Bay's secret surf spot where experienced surfers & dolphins compete for the perfect wave.
Situated in a quiet cul de sac, approximately 200m from the water's edge, the Lower Deck sits atop a hill and is blessed with beautiful sea views. To our left lies the Morgan Bay beach and safe swimming lagoon, which are within walking distance (5-10 minutes). To our right, the mighty dolerite cliffs / krantzes of Morgan Bay rise dramatically from the sea and extend 4km along the coastline, to the pristine Double Mouth Nature Reserve and Bead beach where it is thought the Santo Espirito floundered in 1608. One often hears the haunting call of the resident Fish Eagles in this beautiful estuary.
The Lower Deck consists of a self catering, one double bedroom, ground floor, sea view apartment with comfortable open plan area that consists of lounge with Dstv, kitchen and a sleeping area that comfortably sleeps two children under 12 or one teenager. Sliding doors lead from both the bedroom and the lounge onto a wooden deck where you can relax with a book, enjoy meals in the warm summer evenings or stargaze at night.
TARIFFS: Out of season: R350 per day (for two persons sharing) + R100 per child.

Flame Lily one: This apartment consists of the entire ground floor of the house, self-contained with separate front and back entrances, a private garden with patio and braai/BBQ, sea views and access to the beach. It sleeps a maximum of 8 people in three large bedrooms (two sea-facing). There is a fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom and separate shower room, dining/living room with TV and DStv decoder. Flame Lily Two: This is a spacious, detached bedsitter with separate shower and kitchenette which sleeps two (double bed). No sea view.

Waverley House is a double storey face brick house with a sea view and is located around 100m from the Morgan Bay seafront. The house is bordered by open countryside where one can walk and enjoy the natural surroundings; the beach is a 5 minute walk away.
The house sleeps 10. The ground floor has one double bed bedroom with en-suite bathroom, an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. The kitchen is fully furnished and includes a stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine and two fridge-freezers. There is a lounge, deck, toilet, shower, bathroom and four twin bed bedrooms upstairs, including one with an en-suite bathroom.
There are two braais outside, one portable and the other under cover. There is secure parking available in a double garage.
A domestic worker can be supplied at an extra fee of R60 per day. She will work from 8am - 4pm and should be provided with breakfast (bread and jam) and lunch (samp & beans or something of your own choice).

Morgan Bay Camping
On the banks of the Inchara Lagoon overlooking beach and sea, the Morgan Bay Park is bound by beach and lagoon. Each site is approximately 120 square meters with braai facilities. Electrical points are within 20m.
All the sites are within 120 meters of the ablution block which has hot and cold showers and a bath for the ladies, along with hairdryer points and washing up facilities.
The camp sites are within walking distance of the shop (one kilometer away), from which fresh bread is baked daily. The Hotel is half a kilometer away, where one can enjoy a meal either in the hotel or a fantastic pub meal over looking the sea. Children can also get cold drinks, ice creams as well as a few sweets.
