Hole in the Wall

Hole in the Wall

Hole in the Wall is one of the most impressive landmarks along the entire South African coastline. Second only to Table Mountain, though only a small fraction of the size.

Hole in the Wall is being threatened by very inappropriate developments. Right Now! (Update 28 October 2020)

Please see more at https://www.wildcoast.co.za/environment/hole-in-the-wall, and

PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION to South African Heritage Resources Agency to

Hole in the Wall, the village, is a tiny holiday destination on the eastern banks of the Mpako River and its iconic Hole in the Wall formation. Hole in the Wall is situated roughly in the centre of the 300km stretch of Wild Coast, mid-way between Port Edward in the north, and East London in the south.

Explore the accommodation options available below, from the hotel to self-catering beach cottages. Do remember to book early for this popular and timelessly beautiful Wild Coast destination.
